Slide’n File – hanging file folder tabs – 20 minute invention!

People who take years to develop an invention will bang their heads on tables when they read this.

Invention: Slide’n File

Inventor: Anita Brown, Staples Employee
Inventor’s Location: Muncie, Indiana

Anita submitted her invention for the Staples Invention Quest contest. It is called the Slide’n File. Essentially, the invention is nothing but a wet-erase label that slides along a track. The design allows the track to be moved and reused, without falling off.

Anita Brown has earned $5000 and a trip to New York as a finalist in the contest, from Staples. Not bad for 20 minutes of work!

Her invention will complete with inventions of other finalists, and if it is selected as the best invention, she will have a chance to win the $25,000 grand prize.
