Invention provides privacy for breastfeeding moms

Inventor: Cassandra James-Killer
Invention: Peek a Boob
Inventor’s Location: Sydney, Australia

Cassandra James-Killer is a breastfeeding mother, and a hairdresser by profession. The State Government had made it illegal last year to discriminate against women breastfeeding in public. But still, she always felt embarrassed whenever she had to breastfeed her baby in front of others.
She realized that there are a lot of mothers who feel uncomfortable exposing their breast in public. And now, she has invented a fashionable adult-size bib, and named it “Peek a Boob”. Before inventing this, she did some research and found that there was a similar bib available in the US market. So, she redesigned it to suit the Australian market. The bib has adjustable straps and sits over the mum and baby. It has a rigid neck, allowing mum and baby to see each other while passers-by only see a cloth. A breastfeeding mom’s dream come true!

Of course, Mrs James-Killer uses her own invention while feeding her 20 months old baby. She has started selling her invention over the internet.
